Content Writers - Networking
Until recently it was hard for content writers to find networking opportunities other than on site-specific forums like Squidoo’s SquidU forum, but now there’s a new option - the Content Writers Forum hosted on a phpBB system where writers from a variety of sites can gather to chat.
So far I’ve seen writers from Ezine Articles, Helium, Fortitude, Squidoo, HubPages, Triond, Gather, and a few other places. Poddys was making lots of money at Associated Content, when last seen. Oh, and then there was Best Reviewer! So there are plenty of options for making money on the internet these days, including the old fashioned route of writing for someone under contract (been there, done that and decided to quit doing that to myself!)
So, if you like to write for money on the internet and want to network with others in the content writing field, the above-linked message board might be worth checking into. There’s a strict policy of not letting just anyone sign up - as due to the influx of spammers, registrations will now take place on a personal contact basis. Go read the rules; it isn’t hard to get in but now all spammers will be kept out, and that is how it should be.
